Join us on 27 August 7-8.30pm for the launch of The Green Tingkat. We kick off with a panel discussion on "Sustainable Consumption & Greenwashing" asking how consumers can drive sustainability, and what the private and public sector can do to shape and enable it.
Our community will also be sharing nuggets of eco - wisdom in our signature #kampungchats, and sustainable entrepreneurial journeys throughout the weekend (27 - 29 Aug). We'll be covering hot topics from food waste to plastic bags. See you there!

An active advocate for green building and sustainability for over two decades, Esther has been instrumental in establishing CDL’s leadership in sustainability. It is ranked top real estate company on the 2020 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World and is also the only CDP A-List company for climate strategy and water security in SE Asia. Key ESG initiatives she has spearheaded include publishing the first sustainability report using GRI standards in Singapore in 2008; issuing the first green bond by a Singaporean company in 2017 and pioneering an SDG Innovation Loan in Singapore in 2019. A forerunner in embracing the UN SDGs, Esther was conferred 2018 SDG Pioneer for Green Infrastructure and A Low Carbon Economy by the UN Global Compact. She was also recently appointed Chairperson of Asia Pacific Real Estate Association’s Sustainability and ESG Committee and Co-Chair of Urban Land Institute Singapore’s Sustainability Product Council.
Florence Tay, the Co-founder of UnPackt Pte Ltd in Singapore. UnPackt is the first zero-waste grocery and lifestyle store in Singapore with the mission to build a green and mindful country, one community at a time.
Louis Ng is a Singapore Member of Parliament. He has been serving as a People's Action Party MP for Nee Soon GRC since 2015. Louis is also the Founder and Chief Executive of ACRES, a Singapore based charity advocating for an end to animal cruelty in Asia. He received his Bachelor of Science in biology from the National University of Singapore and his Masters of Science in Primate Conservation from the Oxford Brookes University.
In 2014, Louis was presented with the Advocate of the Year award in the inaugural Singapore Advocacy Awards. In 2011, Louis received the inaugural Yahoo! Singapore 9 award in 2011 which recognises nine Singaporeans who really made a difference in the past year. In 2007, Louis was presented with The Outstanding Young Persons of Singapore award. In 2002, Louis received the HSBC (Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited) / NYAA (National Youth Achievement Award) Youth Environmental Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution in the field of environmental protection and nature conservation in Singapore.
